For me this was the best lesson I have heard at the recent OMS/SES San Jose when Rand Fishkin talked about this very briefly. And also brings me back to an old blog post on AIMClear by Marty that I cannot remember anymore but it was about influencing personalize search results.

But to sum this up in my own words:

- The more your social circle increases... the more your own web properties may appear in your client's social search results when logged into Google.
- The more your own web properties appear, the higher the possibility of it getting clicked and viewed on your friends browsers.
- The more it gets clicked and viewed, the more you are influencing their personal search results making your site rank well in your circle of friends.
