For me this was the best lesson I have heard at the recent OMS/SES San Jose when Rand Fishkin talked about this very briefly. And also brings me back to an old blog post on AIMClear by Marty that I cannot remember anymore but it was about influencing personalize search results.

But to sum this up in my own words:

- The more your social circle increases… the more your own web properties may appear in your client’s social search results when logged into Google.
- The more your own web properties appear, the higher the possibility of it getting clicked and viewed on your friends browsers.
- The more it gets clicked and viewed, the more you are influencing their personal search results making your site rank well in your circle of friends.

My bad, that supposed to be SES San Diego, not San Jose. Got used to saying San Jose whenever I say SES. LOL

Thanks aimClear and Benj for the great commentary, social or personal search is getting interesting and tactics are being uncovered by SEOs to leverage it in different ways.
